Nick Howley is executive chairman of the board of directors of TransDigm Group Inc. (NYSE/TDG) and TransDigm Holdings. He was the original founder of TransDigm in 1992, now a New York Stock exchange listed company, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. The company owns and operates a broad range of aerospace manufacturing businesses.
Nick received his BS degree in Engineering from Drexel University and an MBA from Harvard University. He serves on the board of Polypore Corporation (NYSE, PPO) and Consolidated Precision Products (CPP). He also serves on non-profit boards of The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Case Western Reserve University and as chairman of St. Martin de Porres High School.
