Cleveland, Ohio (January 5, 2022) – CapitalWorks, a private equity firm operating out of Cleveland, announced today that it has rebranded, introducing a new name and visual identity. At the center of this rebranding is the change of the company name to CW Industrial Partners, LLC. This move comes in response to the firm’s substantial growth over the past twenty two years while steadily increasing its focus on acquiring control interests in lower middle-market industrial businesses throughout the United States and Canada.
Rob McCreary founded the company in 1999 as “CapitalWorks,” with the idea to put capital to work in the lower middle market. Since then, the brand has built and expanded its Industry Advisor Network and organized industry experts around six core industrial sectors. The new name reflects this industrial focus.
CW Industrial Partners Managing Partner, Dick Hollington, commented, “We believe this new brand honors our long history and strong reputation as CapitalWorks, while being clear that we are an industrial-focused private equity firm built on strong partnerships.”
“Today, our competitive advantage is the strength and depth of our private equity team, discipline of our investing process, and network of industry experts,” said Todd Martin, Managing Partner at CW Industrial Partners. “Our new name and visual identity accurately reflect this competitive advantage.”
Updated logo, website, and business collateral are part of the extensive rebranding
To accompany rebranding, CW Industrial Partners launched a new website. CW Industrial Partners can be found at cwindustrials.com. The website highlights CW Industrial Partners and the company’s growth and success in lower middle market industrial businesses.
The CW Industrial Partners name is rooted in the firm’s long history and strong reputation of industrial focus, commitment to strong partnerships, portfolio growth and delivering on commitments to investors.
